The coast of Mallorca is dominated by beautiful beaches and heavenly bays and towering cliffs. While the miles and miles of sandy beaches of S'Arenal and Cala Ratjada are alive and kicking in the summer, you’ll always be able to find a spot to relax in the seven-mile dunes between Campos and Sa Rapita.
The small bay of Cala Moro is surrounded by steep white cliffs in the south of Mallorca. On the rugged, wild north coast of the island is Cala de Sant Vincenc, Cala Pi de la Posada and Cala Murta – the three extremely picturesque bays.
Being at one with nature in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site
The Serra de Tramuntana is a spectacular mountain range in the north west of the island, which was included by UNESCO in the World Heritage List. The rocky peaks reach an altitude of 1,436 m. The mountainsides are full of terraces of vines, lemon groves and olive groves.
Surrounded by holm-oak forests, Lluc, a medieval monastery is located at an altitude of 500 m in the middle of the mountain range. At the northernmost point of the island, the Serra de Tramuntana drops steeply into the sea and the wind-capped Cap de Formentor gives you fantastic views of the glittering water surface.

Mallorca for holiday makers is about lively resorts for some or discovering picturesque coastal villages or stunning scenery for others. Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada are the main tourist destinations on the north west coast. Further north is the coastal town of Alcúdia with its medieval old town and bay.
